Seven-time Native American Music Award winner Jim Boyd will be performing in concert at the Power of Song Training being presented by The Paul Creek Language Association and Salish School of Spokane on February 9th and 10th with support from the Osoyoos Indian Band. Registered participants for the Power of Song training receive complimentary tickets to the Thursday evening banquet and concert.

Nsyilxcn: The Power of Song Training

The Paul Creek Language Association and Salish School of Spokane are co-sponsoring an Nsyilxcn (Colville-Okanagan) workshop for teachers and caregivers on February 9 & 10, 2012. The workshop will teach Nsyilxcn through songs and games, and no prior language experience in required. Come and learn from Sʕamtíc̓a Peterson and LaRae Wiley. cxʷúywi !!

Intermediate Colville-Okanagan Salish
The Paul Creek Language Association and the Colville Tribal Childcare Program are sponsoring an intensive intermediate Nsəlxcin summer
class. The class will take place from July 5th through August 3rd, Monday
through Friday, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The class has 15 available
seats. The class fee of $400.00 covers instruction, books, and
materials. Students must provide their own lodging, meals and
transportation. To reserve a seat, download, complete, and return the
registration form with payment before June 10, 2011.

Beginning Colville-Okanagan Salish
The Paul Creek Language Association and the Lower Similkameen Indian Band are once again sponsoring an intensive beginning Nsyilxcn summer class. This year's class will take place from August 8-26, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The class has 15 available seats. The class fee of $300.00 covers instruction, books, and materials. Students must provide their own lodging, meals and transportation. Summer 2011 Language Classes

The Paul Creek Language Association, Salish School of Spokane, Lower Similkameen Indian Band, and Colville Tribal Childcare Program are working together to offer beginning and intermediate Nsəlxcin language classes during the summer of 2011. The classes are being held throughout the Syilx territory. Download the summer class schedule to the right for more information. Registration forms will be available later in 2011.
